Client: Haventus Services: Building Services, Infrastructure Design, Low Carbon Consultancy CDMM supported the development of the Ardersier Port Phase 2 Masterplan, a key project in the transformation of the site into a major energy transition hub. The development is designed to support offshore renewables, fabrication, and circular economy industries, with a strong focus on long-term sustainability and resilience. With the civils team CDMM delivered mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure design services across the Phase 2 site area. This included strategic utilities planning for power, water, and communications, ensuring integration with existing networks and alignment with the wider masterplan. We developed infrastructure solutions to support large-scale industrial operations, alongside commercial and process developments, with futureproofing for EV and heavy plant charging and renewable energy integration. The Masterplan and Infrastructure Strategy were developed through RIBA Stages 3 and 4. Early engagement with key stakeholders enabled coordinated utility strategies and reduced delivery risk. A collaborative NEC4 framework supported efficient communication and programme management. The project delivers a scalable and future-ready infrastructure framework, supporting the next phase of development at Ardersier Port. The design provides a strong foundation for sustainable industrial growth, aligned with Net Zero ambitions and evolving energy technologies.
